My goal is to be an ally and advocate to students and their families.
As a former high school science teacher, one of the hardest things to witness was students falling short of their potential. I wanted more time to connect and help each student so I turned to educational consulting. As an educational consultant I have the privilege of working one on one with students and their families to simplify and organize the college application process so that it can be a positive experience that empowers students to exceed their own expectations.
I come from a long line of educators and believe in the power of knowledge; That being said, I know first hand that the conventional education system has its shortcomings. It can be difficult and stressful to navigate. With first hand experience of how the system works, I can be an advocate for the student and student’s family. My work is authentic, student-centered, and research based. By using tools to learn about students' interests and motivation, we can co-construct a path into the future that will not only bring success but more importantly fulfillment.
